The Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario exists to hear claims of discrimination and harassment whereby the discrimination and harassment is based on a protected ground found in the Human Rights Code, RSO 1990, c. H.19.

The Ministry of Labour enforces employees’ rights under the Employment Standards Act, 2000, SO 2000, c. 41. An employee can file a claim with the Ministry of Labour if they believe that their employer has violated their rights as found in the Employment Standards Act.
